Introduction Lead-Up Friday Saturday Sunday Ending FATE
Soon after 6pm- most people have
left
Time to empty the marquees
and stack the chairs
Where on Earth are yoooo, Dr. Whoooo, where are yoooo? (Sung to the tune of "When I'm calling you")
This is a (very) convenient
time - machine, it's computer equipped with the latest
flash
flush memory. Surveillance system uses full tilt and pan facilities, too.
Goes round bends easily.
Enough! goes a shout, so I'll stop.
The Sun sets in the West (it rarely sets elsewhere in my experience) and, as peace descends upon this tranquil place, the birds again return to their nests (they didn't have badges so we chucked them out).
The finished mural
The loos are set loose
The bar table is still drunk, but not legless
Unusually, the trailer follows
the main event
The fields are mostly deserted
And the Panic Circus is no more
Everything is coming down
and the scene of so much activity and enjoyment is now quiet
And that, as they say, is that. See you next year and thanks to all those who were involved in running the event, and to all those who came to see FATE 2003, without whom we would have rather a quiet weekend.
I want to look again:
