This is a new feature resulting from the use of a state-of-the-art photo scanner. Your photos can be scanned in and provided on a CD/DVD or printed. Now your older negatives can be made into high quality digital files, too.
Scan and repair APS, 35mm and 120 films
The following photo sizes - including negatives and transparencies (slides) - can be scanned in:
APS
35mm
120/ 220 and all medium format sizes
up to Letter/ A4
Remember - these can be scans of your negatives - not just a scan of a print, offering the best quality final images.
With extrememey high scan resolutions your old photos can be reprinted at very large sizes.
Photo Repairs
Below is a basic straight forward repaired photo - the original is faded and grubby, the replacement image is as the author inteded!
Clean-Up Service
In addition to scanning in your old photographs Lightsmith's can offer a comprehensive image clean-up service - get rid of scratches, dust and other imperfections on the original and reprint in the colours that were there when new.
Note that you may be asked to sign that you hold the copyright to any scanned images. Generally, copyright remains with the original photographer up to 70 years after his or her death.
